Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

Submission Preparation Checklist

1. Submissions will be reviewed by the Paper Selection Committee.
2. The front page must contain only the following: title of the manuscript, authors name and affiliation, abstract (portuguese end english), key words (portuguese end english - no more than 5) and JEL codes.
3. In principle, the sessions will be conducted in English. In case you strongly prefer to present in Portuguese, please write down "APRESENTAÇÃO EM PORTUGUÊS" on the front page of your article.
4. Only files in Adobe PDF format will be accepted.
5. Only one paper will be accepted per author, although the same author may be included as co-author in papers submitted by other authors.
   Papers should be submitted electronically following the guidelines available here.
6. The payment of the submission fee will be regarded as the payment of the SBE 2012 annual membership fee.
   
   PAYMENT DETAILS:
   * Professional: R$150,00
   * Student: R$ 50,00

   Note: if you are a student, you must send a copy of your student identity card or a declaration from your university either by fax (+55 21) 2552-4898 or by e-mail  secsbe@fgv.br. Only after that will your registration be confirmed by SBE.

7. Pay the Submission Fee at Registration link.
8. Each submitted paper will correspond to one submission fee. If an author submits a paper, but no payment confirmation is sent by SBE, the paper will be treated as unsubmitted.
9. Hardcopy submissions and papers submitted to the 40º Brazilian Meeting of Economics (ANPEC) will not be accepted.

10. In order for the papers to be eligible, all guidelines stated above must have been strictly followed.
