Abstract

The democratization of labor relations sought by management by means of partnership programs, like Quality Circles, Quality of Work Life and thelike, sets limits to toorkers' partnership. The limitations are given by the fact that these programs, conceived by management, keep workers out of the decision areas of the firmo Compared to these programs conceived by management, those thought of by the working people themselvesshow that only through their involvement at ali levels of the work organization, do they have the opportunity to acquire a global view of the labor process and, henceforth, to introduce real democracy at the firmo
