Abstract

On May 11, 2012, it is considered the beginning of a student movement, of short duration, but with considerable repercussions on the political life of Mexico. This movement is also the starting point of a network of young people who for ten years have participated in many of the events that have marked the course of the transformation of Mexican society.
Networks of young people who participated in operation 1DMX, who protested against the structural reforms of Enrique Peña Nieto, who through hard work affected the Media Law, those young people who at the time they called manipulated, eggs, NiNis, are the ones who raised their voices again against the crimes of the State in Ayotzinapa, who were outraged by the impunity of Such as that of the "White House", networks that were activated on September 19, 2017 to coordinate aid in the collection centers, young people who came with shovels and picks where hands were needed.
These young people belong to a generation marked by inequality, by the desire for justice and they have not been willing to wait for it to come from the government, they have built it themselves, it is the young people who are creating new ways of doing politics in Guadalajara, in Jojutla (the country must be rebuilt materially and socially), in Mexico City, loaded to the Left or participating
The proposal of this presentation collects the testimonies of several of these students, in interviews conducted nine years ago and compares them with interviews with those same young people and also with others in 2022, to understand how their actions have been transformed and what it has been in their lives.
