EPC corporate propositions for public policies for a low-carbon economy in Brazil: electric power: executive summary

Abstract

Developed by the Business for the Climate Platform (EPC), this study presented some proposals of public policies to facilitate the transition of the Brazilian electricity sector to a low-carbon economy, from the point of view of the business sector. Based on national context on generation, distribution and transmission of electricity, these proposals seek to bring the national electrical grid to a more sustainable situation.
