A relevância do micro e pequeno distribuidor de material hospitalar na cadeia de fornecimento da Central de Material Esterilizado

Abstract

Objetivo - Analisar a cadeia de fornecimento de materiais hospitalares para a Central de Material Esterilizado e identificar tendências no posicionamento atual e futuro dos empreendimentos dos micros e pequenos distribuidores de material hospitalar neste mercado. Metodologia – Optou-se por uma metodologia qualitativa de estudo através de aplicação de entrevistas semiestruturadas. Como forma de analisar os dados, foi empregada a teoria fundamentalista por meio da codificação aberta. Resultados – O estudo permite afirmar que o micro e pequeno distribuidor de material hospitalar necessitará mudar sua forma de atuação. Seu valor agregado poderá ser encontrado em atuações de nicho, junto aos pequenos clientes e àqueles que se encontrem nas cidades de interior. Além disso precisará atuar como distribuidor e também representante comercial, em formato híbrido, de forma a manter parceria com os fabricantes e volume de negócios, o que mesmo assim não será suficiente para manter sua estrutura atual e, para isso, precisará de uma estrutura mais enxuta. Limitações – Apesar da consulta à especialistas de mercado, o estudo retrata a realidade de micro e pequenos distribuidores localizados na região sudeste do Brasil. Demais regiões podem encontrar realidades diversas, onde este perfil de distribuidor ainda poderá perpetuar sua relevância por tempo superior. Contribuições práticas – A partir dos resultados do estudo, micro e pequeno distribuidores podem se preparar para as mudanças necessárias em seus empreendimentos, de forma a perpetuar sua manutenção no mercado. Contribuições sociais – Ao prover sustentação estratégica para os micros e pequenos distribuidores, este trabalho se propõe a manter negócios que têm características predominantemente familiares, onde a manutenção da renda do empreendimento está diretamente proporcional à manutenção do sustento familiar. Originalidade – Até onde pode-se identificar não há, no Brasil, trabalho que se proponha a estudar o recorte dos micros e pequenos distribuidores de materiais hospitalares voltados à insumos para a Central de Material Esterilizado.

Purpose – Analyze the supply chain for hospital supplies to the Sterilized Material Center and identify trends in the current and future positioning of the micro and small hospital supplies distributors in this market. Design/Methodology – We’ve chosen a qualitative study methodology through the application of semi-structured interviews. As a way of analyzing the data, fundamentalist theory was used through open codification. Findings - The study allows us to affirm that the micro and small distributor of hospital supplies will need to change the way they operate. Its added value can be found in niche operations, with small customers and those who are in the interior cities. In addition, will be needed to act as a distributor and also a commercial representative, in a hybrid format, in a way to maintain a partnership with manufacturers and sales volume, which will still not be enough to maintain your current structure and, for that, will needed a leaner structure. Research limitations - Despite consulting market experts, the study portrays the reality of micro and small distributors located in the southeastern region of Brazil. Other regions can find different realities, where this distributor profile can still perpetuate its relevance for a longer time. Practical implications - From the results of the study, micro and small distributors can prepare for the necessary changes in their ventures, in order to perpetuate their maintenance in the market. Social implications - By providing strategic support for micro and small distributors, this work aims to maintain businesses that have predominantly family characteristics, where the maintenance of the enterprise's income is directly proportional to the maintenance of the family's livelihood. Originality - As far as can be identified, there is no work in Brazil that proposes to study the cut of micro and small distributors of hospital materials turned to inputs for the Sterilized Material Center.
