Fatores críticos de sucesso na integração entre o ERP e os sistemas de business analytics

Abstract

Este trabalho dedica-se ao estudo dos Fatores Críticos de Sucesso na integração entre sistemas ERP e os sistemas de Business Analytics. Fatores Críticos de Sucesso são as atividades que se perfeitamente executadas aumentam de forma significativa a chance de sucesso de uma ação como um todo. Especificamente, neste trabalho, sobre a integração das plataformas transacionais das organizações, comumente conhecidas como ERP, e suas ferramentas de apoio a decisão, denominadas neste trabalho como Business Analytics. A integração entre essas duas plataformas é importante por ser a base para a construção da inteligência analítica das organizações, tornando-as mais rápidas, oferecendo maior poder analítico aos seus funcionários e possibilitando ganhos operacionais reais. A compreensão dos fatores que podem aumentar o sucesso dessas iniciativas pode ser muito importante em um mercado que espera chegar ao montante de 4,5 bilhões de dólares no mundo. O estudo foi realizado com a colaboração de profissionais da área de Tecnologia da Informação, onde 79% deles exercia uma posição de liderança nas organizações que representam, e que responderam a um questionário semiestruturado com respostas fechadas fazendo uso da escala Likert. Foram identificados os Fatores Críticos de Sucesso (FCS) válidos para esse momento do tempo e público respondente, o que representa pontos reais de atenção em projetos dessa natureza.

This paper is dedicated to the study of Critical Success Factors in the integration between ERP systems and Business Analytics systems. Critical Success Factors are the activities that are perfectly executed that significantly increase the chance of success of action as a whole. Specifically, in this paper, on the integration of the organizations' transactional platforms, commonly known as ERP, and their decision support tools, denominated in this work as Business Analytics. The integration between these two platforms is essential because it is the basis for building the analytical intelligence of organizations, making them faster, providing higher analytical power to their employees, and enabling real operational gains. Understanding the factors that can increase the success of these initiatives can be very important in a market that expects to reach the amount of 4.5 billion dollars in the world. The study was conducted with the collaboration of professionals in the area of Information Technology, where 79% of them exerted a leading position in organizations which represent a response to a semi-structured questionnaire with closed answers using the Likert scale. The Critical Success Factors (CSF) valid for this moment of time and respondent public were identified, which represents real points of attention in projects of this nature.
