Energy and transportation in the Atlantic Basin

Este livro é o primeiro de uma série realizada pela rede de pesquisas "Jean Monnet Network on Atlantic Studies", um consórcio de 10 institutos de pesquisa e universidades dos quatro continentes da Bacia Atlântica, coordenado pela FGV NPII, que explora as dinâmicas emergentes e interligadas de energia e transporte, economia e comércio e segurança humana em toda a região atlântica. Este volume concentra-se na interseção de energia e transporte em todo o mundo atlântico no contexto do Acordo Climático de Paris e a política internacional imperativa para descarbonizar o setor de transporte. This volume focuses on the intersection of energy and transportation across the broad Atlantic world against the backdrop of the Paris Climate Agreement and the international policy imperative to decarbonize the transportation sector. Authors analyze current dynamics and future trends affecting the energy and transportation nexus across each of the four Atlantic continents, as well as in the maritime realm of the Atlantic Ocean. They offer recommendations for both region-specific action and transnational, “pan-Atlantic” cooperation in energy, transportation, and broader maritime affairs.
