Construção de hidrelétrica na Etiópia

Abstract

The case focuses on the negotiations between the governments of Ethiopia, Egypt and Sudan on possible impacts of the construction of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) on Ethiopian territory. The Sudanese and Egyptian governments, especially the latter, fear for possible negative consequences of the plant in their countries.

O caso trata das negociações entre os governos da Etiópia, Egito e Sudão, a respeito dos possíveis impactos da construção em território etíope da hidrelétrica Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD). O governo sudanês e o governo egípcio, sobretudo esse último, temem pelas possíveis consequências negativas da obra em seus países.
