JOSCM has appointed New Editor-in-chief

Dear JOSCM Community,

The last issue of the Journal of Operations and Supply Chain Management (JOSCM) was my last as Editor-in-chief. During the two years I spent in this role, JOSCM published four issues with papers that covered a wide range of subjects in supply and operations management. Researchers from all the continents have submitted manuscripts to our review process and the issues count with authors from different nationalities and affiliations. We have also organized a special issue on Humanitarian Logistics and Crisis Management that will be published shortly. As part of our administrative efforts, we have upgraded our IT and plagiarism control systems to guarantee a fairer and more robust review process and invested in marketing actions to keep JOSCM an international journal.

Prof. Juliana Bonomi Santos will be the new Editor-in-chief and already has participated in the last year as my associated Editor. I am sure the JOSCM community can expect exciting achievements over the next years.

Luiz Artur Ledur Brito
JOSCM
Editor-in-chief 2014-2015

MESSAGE FROM THE INCOMING EDITOR
I´d like to congratulate prof. Luiz Artur Ledur Brito for the excellent work done during his time as Editor-in-chief and thank him for inviting to join the JOSCM team as an associated Editor. I definitively learned a lot in the last year and will do my best to keep up the good work.  I know this will not be an easy task.

I would like now to invite my fellow colleagues from the JOSCM community to join us in the debate on how can we make a reference in our field.
Hope to hear from you all soon,

best regards,

Juliana Bonomi Santos
