Resumo

The perception of beauty, since long time, has gone beyond the notions of proporcion in the bodies. There is a vast semantic field that pass by the idea of beauty for women. With this job we aimed to comprehend the concept of beauty among a brazilian group of women, and, at the end, we checked how the comsumption dynamics became an allied practice to realize an ideal of beauty.
